Style Profile & Buy-Advisor
All of this runs on your own local AI endpoint (see Setup). Body photos and measurements are processed by your self-hosted model and stored in your own database — none of it is sent to a third-party API.
1. Fill in your measurements
Before running the wizard, fill in your measurements in your profile. At minimum this should include the standard body measurements (bust/chest, waist, hip, height) plus:
underbust— this is the one that specifically powers bra sizing in the Buy-Advisor's size finder. Without it, bra/intimate size suggestions can't be computed.
The more complete your measurements, the more accurate the deterministic shape/frame calculation below is.
2. Run the Style Profile wizard
The wizard produces two kinds of results:
- Deterministic — body shape (e.g. hourglass/pear/rectangle...), vertical line, and frame are computed directly from your measurements using fixed rules. No AI involved, always reproducible.
- AI-drafted — a colour-season lean and a Kibbe-style lean are drafted by the local AI from your hints and/or a body photo. This is a draft, not a verdict.
Steps:
- Open the Style Profile wizard.
- Enter your measurements (if not already saved) and any style hints (e.g. skin tone notes, hair/eye color, a body photo if you're comfortable providing one — optional).
- Run the draft — the AI proposes a colour season and Kibbe lean.
- Review and confirm — you can accept the draft as-is or adjust it before saving. Nothing is applied silently; you always confirm the final profile.
3. Read your guidance
Once confirmed, your profile does two things elsewhere in the app:
- Outfit suggestions get scored against your shape and colour palette. Items/combos that don't flatter your profile are down-ranked, never hidden — you'll still see everything, just re-ordered.
- A standalone styling guide view lays out what generally works for your shape/frame/colour season (silhouettes to favor, necklines, colour families, etc.) as a reference independent of any specific outfit.
4. Buy-Advisor
The Buy-Advisor has two parts:
Gap analysis / recommendations
- Run the Buy-Advisor from your closet view. It looks at what you own vs. your style profile and flags gaps — categories/cuts/colours that would round out your wardrobe and flatter your shape, that you're currently missing or under-stocked on.
- Each recommendation comes with retailer search links (pre-filled searches, not direct product picks) so you can go shopping with a concrete starting point rather than a vague "buy more A-line skirts."
Size finder (paste-a-URL)
- Copy the product page URL from a retailer.
- Paste it into the size finder.
- It parses the listing's size chart and compares it against your saved measurements to suggest which size to buy.
Bra/intimate sizing caveat: for bras and similarly-fitted intimates, the size finder follows the r/ABraThatFits sizing method (using your underbust + bust measurements) rather than generic vanity sizing. Treat any suggested size — bra or otherwise — as a starting point: brand-to-brand fit varies, and a chart-based estimate can't fully replace trying something on.
